Carrie is our principal ergonomist; she launched Taylor’d Ergonomics in 1995, after working in the field for six years. Carrie holds an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics, and a Master of Science degree, both from the University of Guelph. She has attained professional ergonomics certification in Canada and the United States, and has experience in many industries, including automotive parts and assembly, food processing, small motors, offices, chemical processing, airlines, and health care.

As principal ergonomist for Taylor’d Ergonomics, Carrie has many administrative and marketing functions. She has also managed the following functions/projects:
Program development. Carrie has overseen our team’s service development, including our ergo audit, ergo priority system, ergo design guidelines, heat stress prevention policy, and all training programs. She is committed to the standardisation of services, and has ensured that we have “standard operating procedures” for all of our assessment processes.
Ergonomics workshop development. Carrie is responsible for developing all of our new workshops.
Site ergonomist Since 1996, Carrie has been the site ergonomist for a foam plant. In this role, she has overseen the development of a PDD database, completed many ergonomics assessments,and has been instrumental in return-to-work initiatives for many employees.
